A small acceleration pickup is mounted on the bottom surface of the vibration plane, and feedback control is employed to maintain a constant and precise vibration level, regardless of the mass of the transducer being calibrated (up to 70 grams for Model 4294 and up to 200 grams for Model 4294-002). If a transducer exceeding the specified mass is attached to the vibration table, the power supply of the calibrator will automatically be cut off to avoid overload. The usage is very simple. First, attach the target transducer to the vibration plane of the calibrator using a steel stud (YQ 2963) with a 10-32 UNF thread. Additionally, by using the included 10-gram mounting adapter (DB 2996), transducers manufactured with a mounting screw diameter of 3 mm can be easily attached, or they can be mounted with the included magnet UA 0642. This mounting adapter is also convenient for securing transducers with bead wax or instant adhesive.
